The Winchshot is a grappling hook, and is one of few items that is guaranteed to be available each run. This is the safest and most easily controlled hook. Throw the hook on to the surface you wish to attach to. You will be connected by a metal wire and suspended in mid-air, able to move left and right a small distance, descend infinitely along the wire, or ascend up to the location you threw it to. Pressing RUN will detach you and return the hook to your hand, allowing you to move freely again.
Obtaining
The Winchshot can be found in Red Chests, Brutal Boiler or Crafted.
