Bitchbane
The Bitchbane is a melee weapon. It retains the functionality of the Old Sword while being far superior, swinging much more quickly and dealing full throwing damage rather than only half of its swing damage. It is statistically identical to the Challenger's Sword.
Lore
The Bitchbane was apparently forged by a blacksmith with the intention of being used to free his Killatonne from the Giant Worm, which was in turn intended to be used to recover the Exiled Blades and re-ready the mysterious Ascender-armed Arsenal, from a war long ago. It was accidentally swallowed by or intentionally stored inside one of the tower's dogs.
Quest text for this item:
"A blacksmith forged this blade to free his tools from the throbbing vault, in case the arsenal need be readied again."
Obtaining
The Bitchbane can only be obtained by killing 9 dogs in a single level.
